    Car break-ins last two Sundays...

My neighborhood has seen an explosion of car breakins occurring over the last two Sundays. Now I'm getting a text from a neighbor saying that a car was in our cul de sac today taking pics of the houses and looked suspicious when they saw that she saw them.
Question for the green screen. Can anyone run a license plate number for me? PM me if you can and are willing to help. Thanks!

You can go to Public Data.com and run them yourself. Illegal for LEO to run it for you.
          #1 - LOCK YOUR CAR!
In my 8+ years as LEO, I can count on one hand the number of cars that were actually "broken" into!
99% of BMVs are from unlocked vehicles. Crooks are lazy. Why bother breaking in when you can walk down the street pulling door handles til you find an open car. Easy pickins!

Sunday nights are their favorite. Most people stay in that night and go to bed early. In college my truck got broken into on a Sunday night and the next Sunday night my roommates car did in the same spot. The next Sunday I caught the guy walking around again.

This is exactly what happened. I didn't get hit but we have cameras and saw that the guy spent 11 minutes in our cul de sac. My neighbor got hit. I think every person affected had left their doors unlocked. I have a problem with folks taking pics of the houses immediately around me. Lots of kids in this area.

Were that taking pictures of the kids?!
Call PD with tags. Maybe just a realtor doing comps in the neighborhood.

Oh yea, lock the doors to your cars and don't leave anything in there.

Why on earth haven't you called your local police instead of solving it on the internet?

That's odd...cuz my truck here in Frisco has been broken into 3 times. Each time, busted window.

Yep you never know these days. Same thing happened at my sons basketball practice one evening. 4 vehicles were broken into all with busted out windows. Smash & grab job. Thieves don't care

Local PD had already been contacted and promised to "step up patrols". I'm more of a do it yourself kind of guy...hence the plate run.

Just proves Frisco thieves aren't as lazy.

Man this is getting out of hand… I live in lake Houston and on Thursday morning around 3AM our neighborhood was hit hard from one side to the other. As of now we know of 15 cars that were broke into and they tried to smash my truck window. The stole a hitch from a guy on the other side of the neighborhood and after trying to smash my widow they left it in my yard by the truck along with a brick. They were caught on cameras but all we can tell is 3 guys in coveralls with mask and gloves driving a white car.
