    Cabbage recipe

I've never cooked this before but kind of made it up last night. Turned out real good. I'm sure it's been done before though. Sliced cabbage about 1/2 inch thick and left them like steaks if that make sense. Forgot to take pics. Coated with a little olive oil, sea salt and fresh black pepper. Put a little Rotel over them and baked. Added some muenster cheese about 5 minutes before done.

Sounds great. Never had it that way but I love cabbage and will be trying that.

How long did you bake them for and what temp? Thanks. Sounds good. Just got done eating a cabbage stir fry.

I cut up a pack of bacon and fry it up, when the bacon is done I take it out of the skillet then add the sliced cabbage and fry in the bacon grease until it almost done, then add onion and cook until the cabbage and onions are tender then add the bacon back into the skillet.

Ate a lot of it that way growing up. My dad cooked it like that but he added a little bell pepper. Back then I ate more bacon than cabbage. I always thought it stunk like crazy. Love it now

I always boil, drain, add salt and pepper and grub. May have to try some of these others though.

Personally, I hate cabbage, always have always will, sorry.
