Pre ordered the album last week glad to see it show up in my iTunes yesterday morning. I dare any Fathers of daughter(s) to listen to "Diamonds and Daughters" and not tear up a little. I have a near 2 year old and another daughter coming in April. That song had me seeing fuzzy. Great album Aaron Ive been through it a couple times already.

      Solid show at the rodeo

Missed a few songs I wanted to hear but when there's so many I bet it's hard to narrow it down!

So I do understand how insane this would sound. I preordered my CD in January, showed up Friday. I opened it yesterday to find the actually CD missing! Amazon set to replace it now.

Just a shout out to Honkytonkkid... During yesterdays stock show performance he dedicated a song to one of San Antonio's fallen hero's. Woody was a friend and fellow firefighter. You sir are a class act...

I already have my vaquero CD and loved all of the early releases. Texas Lullaby is amazing. A Watson has been my favorite country singer since I first heard (Shut Up and Dance) back in like 2002 or something. Its awesome seeing such a Godly man play at the bars and now on the radio, all the while remaining true to his roots.

This will be the album of 2017 when all is said and done. No one is going to top this one. While I have always enjoyed his shows and his songs, this one is a step above and beyond anything else he has done. Maybe not quite as traditional country as he has been, but hits the mark with each song. Well done and looking forward to seeing you here in Houston at the rodeo.

Sitting outside tonight with my wife. Vaquero playing. Fire burning in the pit. Drinking beer and smoking a cigar. Underdog will probably be my family's favorite album of all time. I am really liking this new album. Thanks to The Honky Tonk Kid for doing what you do.
