Pre ordered and my gf gave me tickets yesterday to see him at the rodeo

Definitely one of my favorite Texas artists. Scratch that. One of my favorite artists. Just preordered the new album. Don't know him personally, but from what I've seen on social media, he's just an all around great guy in addition to putting out solid, original music.

He is one of the best people I've ever met. Talked to him multiple times and worked out with him and his band in a gym in midland. I had a friend in college who was family friends with him.

We went to see him at Hastings one time and a kid got him to sign his boot. Another very young kid in line saw him sign the kids boot but you could tell he wasn't sure how to ask so Aaron Watson put his own boot on the table and let the little kid sign his boot. No telling what he paid for the boots and he did it without thinking twice. One of the coolest things I've ever seen.

Yeap, got his contact info and asked if he'd sign something from his website I wanted to buy for a sick little girl. Mr. Watson said no, but he'd gladly send the signed item without any payment. Argued a little but he won and I think he threw in a few extra items. I always buy extras of his albums for others just because...

Downloaded it last week and love all the prerelease songs! Can't wait till tomorrow to hear the rest of the album! 👍
