He’s not the highest scoring one I have but I have quite a few better tens that I want to breed other than him. Plus he’s a absolute bully at the pen. Naturally he has disappeared since the season has opened. Lol.

I have never seen a herd of deer so hungry for corn. If I get out to hit the test button, it’s a race to see if I can get in my bow blind 20yds away before they get back in the pen. And that’s with knee high grass everywhere! Even in the mornings when I pour hand corn out of a pants leg bag (no noise except the corn hitting the ground) I can hear them when I get settled and open the windows (7-8 mins top)

I’m not complaining. It sure makes for fun all day sits.

I hunt the brewer ranch off of 1024 and when I was there 2nd weekend of bow season they weren’t coming to corn like they were last year. I watched 3 bucks for hours mowing grass down and nothing came into the corn that one hunt. Same spot 3 hunts I got skunked. It was a jam up spot last year. this year it’s dead. Not to sure what’s going on this year.

Started cotton seed this year for first time. Finally getting some interesting in coming visitors we have not seen before.

No I finally filled our pasture. The ranch has a no guest policy which 99% kills it for most.

Our place is like that.. absolutely no guest from Oct 1st and then it ends Jan 1st.. I still have a week or two to bring my wife/kid at least

My wife doesn't care as much to go but my little boy is 2 now. So i need a place that he can come and hunt as well as learn and want to take interest in it.

I'll never understand why kids aren't allowed on any lease but to each their own. I fell like it's taking away the experience from the youth and the bonding moment between the parent and kid.
