This^^^^^^ And you might want to get your landowner's permission. I know when I leased the rancher asked us to shoot any hogs seen, EVEN IF THEY WERE ACROSS THE FENCE ! Nobody in the area wanted them.

That said, if you get any hog traffic, corn will do the job.

If you don't have hogs now they are not going to show up because you throw out some special bait. If they are there now, corn works best. When you mix cool aid and all that other stuff pigs usually get alarmed. They are not used to it. Unless you are going to put cool aid, hog wild, etc in a feeder and get them trained on it, I think you are waisting your time.

Cranberry sauce is a killer. Hogs cannot resist the aroma. ^^^^^^ BTW, don't listen to Debbie Downer above. Try it all.

I'd bet you've got a pig trapper on a nearby property. We've got one, and since he showed up, no pigs.

1,000th vote on "Careful what you wish for" ... The trick is not bringing them in, it's getting them to leave.

As a biologist told me "there are two kinds of ranches in Texas... Ones with hogs .. and one that will soon have them..."

Once you have them it will be very hard to remove them all, they may not come frequent but they'll be there.

can't attract them if they aren't there

Nothing will draw them in from miles

Again, be careful what you ask for. Once the pigs take over, the opportunities for deer decreases.

Not true! Well unless the pigs aren't hunted or trapped at all

I've used corn with strawberry powdered jello mix in it. The hogs love the scent.

You can try and attract them but if they don't like the property they won't ever stay. We hunt one property that has a lot of sand and the javelina love it but not the hogs. We have never seen a hog on this piece but right across the fence there are hogs everywhere because it is regular dirt that they can root in.

How hard have you looked? Are you just going off of game camera pics and in-person sightings? Have you looked with thermal or NV? How big is this place?

How do you suggest attracting hogs now through the season?

Bisch nailed it. You don't have any to attract. Be like spending $15 on a crank bait and throwing it in a wet weather mud hole.
