I was ticketed for no archery stamp while sitting with someone else who was hog hunting with a bow. Really think its up to how the game warden is feeling that day.

There is a special 5 day license thats only like 40 something dollars. But cant be used for game animals.

However, if you are a landowner/rancher/farmer etc and you are just out feeding cows, shredding, building fence etc...doing regular stuff and you jump a hog and you get a shot at him, you can shoot it. Without a licence.

IF you are a hunter, out hunting....get a licence.

and there is the difference,,, killing a nuisance animal as opposed to hunting an animal.... ,,, much safer to have a license than prove your the landowner or agent just taking advantage of a shot.....

Still trying to figure out why anyone on this site wouldn't have a Lic anyway...I can promise you if you don't and shoot & say it's depredation, the citation will be in the hands of GW discretion.
