                I went to check it and the water isn't discolored after 24 hours but the skull is loose on the middle seem on the forehead. Will it tighten back up when the skull dries? I've really never soaked one in water like this. Thanks in advance

                  Peroxide will kill the smell and whiten and any bacteria....it can be the cheap stuff from the dollar store. No worries

                    Go to dollar store buy the super glue gel. Hit all the cracks and his teeth to jaw....

                          Gallon ziploc bag and tie it up so most of peroxide covers the jaw.

                                Yes, it will tighten back up to some degree, but not completely.
                                It got loose because all the meat, membrane, and muscle, that held it together, is gone.
