NAFTA.....Guess we'll see who has the biggest set of ba...

Will be interesting to see how this shapes up.

LMAO, Mexico has a massive deficit in bargaining power on this one, so little.

You guys better hope some of these countries we are pissing off, such as Mexico, doesn't align with Russia. It would suck to have Russian launchers on our southern border.

A Mexico/Russia alliance declaring war on the US?

It could happen. It's not much different than our having launchers and other options in countries that border Russia.

You really think Mexico wants to go there? They depend on us far too much for that.

How does that benefit Mexico though?

The Russians, hacking our border, ha. I see them being more of the Canadian type anyways. Eh.

Right now the US (Trump) is villifying Mexico and imposing tariffs could significantly hurt Mexico's already hurting economy. Desperate people and desparate governments take desperate measures. Do you think Russia would turn away the option to have a friend on our border?

Doubt Mexico would ever allow that to happen, at least not without pulling all their people out of the US first. They have too many citizens living in the US to willingly put them in a situation like that.

I have no idea, it's just thinking out loud. But, as we become more isolationist in nature, Russia is happy to extend a welcome.

See below, have you ever been to a border crossing? The line headed North is a lot longer than the one heading South. Mexico has nothing to gain by allowing Russia in.

Not saying your points are valid, but who has more to lose in this deal. Do you think Russia is going to foot the bill for Mexico. Between the 80% of trade that Mexico has with the US and the billions illegals send back to Mexico, it seems that they would have substantially less leverage in this deal. It's about time someone is fighting to improve our country instead of everyone else.
