I know that spoons made Rosie fat but what was it that made her so stoopid?

Funny though, I bet you are just condemning celebrities with liberal views. If Eastwood or Voight said something conservative, you might feel warm and fuzzy.

The liberal point of view is not based on reality, actually its intellectually weak and i dont care to hear it from someone who is far removed from the typical American reality

I don't put much stock in what a celebrity says politically; as a rule they use emotion based arguments and that doesn't sway my opinions. Facts and reason are what I use to form political opinions; mostly anyway.
I am entertained by a celebrity by how good they are at their craft or art, not by their political stance. But I would be wrong to say the more outspoken celebrities do kind of put a damper on their art in my eyes. But I still like, and watch, George Clooney movies, he's a good actor; but he doesn't sway me politically.
Others have committed unforgivable acts in my eyes and I will never support them, Jane Fonda comes to mind; actually, she is the only one I really avoid due to her politically motivated actions. I don't watch George Lopez much either, but I don't think he is either funny or a good actor.
Comedians are sometimes the hardest to watch. I don't mind a good political beating by an actor, but make it equal. It is easy to poke fun at both sides; if they get on a liberal rant it isn't comedy anymore to me, it is just stumping.
I still listen to the Dixie Chicks....

But to answer your question, Bubba, NO.
Unless it's Burnadell. I care what Bernadell says. Sometimes.

Celebrities' comments often get more notice simply because they create their own relevance. No one cares what you and I discuss over coffee at the local café -- partly because there aren't three camera crews covering it. If George Clooney opines that the moon "might just" be made of green cheese in front of a camera, then some producer will be scrambling to line up scientists for a comment on this new and exciting hypothesis.

Celebrity opinions do not influence my political opinions at all. When they choose to use their celebrity status to express their opinions it only affects my opinion of them. Sometimes that's a good thing and sometimes it's not, I think they would do better to just sing their songs, make their movies, or TV shows and keep their politics to themselves.
