Depends on the weather IMHO. Most of SE Texas buck start to loose their antlers beginning the last week of January but last year they began in early January. I start looking around the 1st of Feb. and hunt until late March but hope to catch a couple in the next couple of weeks. I set 3 traps (the one pictured above and two under feeders with a "V" shaped cattle panel.

when their testosterone levels drop low enough, it depends on age and individual deer health, rut cycles, food intake etc...

I know the bucks in Colorado county usually lose them late Jan to early Feb. I set the traps at my feeders after muzzloader season is over and put my cameras pointed at them. Can tell day day to day what bucks lose them and what time. If they lose them at the trap. Works good.

Not worth selling so just give to me!

Build antler art or display shed with TC pic of buck. Tons of things to make from them!

"V" Shape Cattle panel works great! Just pour corn along panel and like the rest in the V. Careful not to do it too early as bucks can get tangled easily. I normally don't set mine up until mid February.
