Love my Val1...even if I'm not scooting, it's fun to watch how you guys work in tandem sometimes.
It's really the only one own, but nothing is gonna beat instant on. Really surprised I don't see more units with lasers...that is a unique sound that will make my ticker skip a beat.
Only problem I have with it is all the trash it pics up but still a fun tool.

I would say yes did it go off they would say yes and I would say you slowed down and I turned my antenna off til I visually saw u passing all the other traffic at which point I turned them back on and your valentine 1 lit up but it was too late you were caught, most times I gave them a warning cause they couldn't believe they were caught. On holidays rush hour or when I wanted traffic to slow down I left the antennas on front and back so all radar detectors would go off and drivers felt they were getting over cause they had a radar detector . Even stopped a guy with a jammer one day but that's another story.

Say u are going 15 over and ur valentine goes off a good operator would have you locked in only because you can't slow down to the speed limit before the unit locks in radar or lidar . You will slow down but with the Doppler pitch and video it's just hard to convince anyone in a courtroom that you weren't speeding .

I didn't get the Val to get out of tickets...if I got one, I would just take my lumps or like the thread, lawyer up to keep it off my record.
I drive 300-400 miles per day & my job is contingent of a good driving record & not getting citations...I drive in an area where I see more black & whites in a week than most see in a year. They come from all over the state to help the border. You gotta mind your manners & I simply set the cruise at 4 over and go. I get no notice.
The Val would drive me insane if I used it daily...last time I took it out was to visit my son at TCU & it saved me more than once if they even cared about the 9-10 over. You just gotta use the grey matter between the ears & understand what you're up against. Like I said, it's a neat tool. I can see how many different radars there are out there, what kind & which direction. It's helped me spot under cover vehicles & such. It's a cool gadget, that's it.

Mike hunt was pretty good. Did all the leg work and I did not have to do anything. Just show up sit back and enjoy. Little pricey but well worth the money. He has an assistant that is not very good, his name is Ben Dover stay away from him. Seymour Butts was training while I used them
Good luck

Before y'all start in on you were speeding just pay the ticket stuff, I have no plans of going that route and here is why.
1. I have a CDL
2. Innocent until proven guilty
3. I don't want a point on my DL
4. I had rathe pay a lawyer than the city of Houston.
5. MERICA!!!

I was in the truck when he gave my buddy a ticket for not stopping long enough before making a right on red
He was very mechanical and cold
Just like i like em
Hurry up give me my ticket and let me go
Our lawyer buddies said that guy is #1 ticket producer in HPD and you can't win against him
Just pay some fleabag law firm the $50 or whatever they ask when they send you something in the mail.
