Pics two and three are the same deer. I shot her at a steep quartering away shot aiming for the exit at 140yds. She was running and I got her to stop by yelling. She turned her head to look back and give me just enough time to squeeze the round off. The 6.5 tore a Rage broadhead style hole in her. She crashed within 15 yards and a heavy blood trail.
The first doe crossed my trail. I got her to stop at 133yds by yelling as well, but I could only see her head due to her being in brush and grass. I put the scope where I thought would be her shoulders. Turns out that is where the round went.
These are the third and fourth deer I have shot with the 6.5 and am finding the round does not leave a big exit hole. This could be bad, but at the same time, two of the deer dropped like a sack of potatoes, one of these doe went about 15 yards and my mule buck went 10 yards, so that is good.
