first wounded buck I've had not happy

Went in the cold and the wind this morning and sat all day. Saw at least 20 deer 3 shooter bucks rest young. At 2:30 I did some grunts and a little rattling and got caught off guard by a beautiful clean 10pt. He was spooked but stuck around for 20min I drew on him twice. At 23yrds he turned broadside and I drew back. Settled my pin went through all my points before release and let it rip. I don't know if it was me or the 30mph winds but my arrow hit dead center of the shoulder. He jumped tucked his front legs in landed and ran(opposite leg was broken). I waited till 4 thinking he was dead but went to go look and found my arrow, a few small specks of bright red blood then nothing after 15yrds. The neighbors property is 200yrds away the field I was in is about a mile long. He ran towards the neighbors at about a 30° angle. I searched and searched walked lines through the dang 3-6ft weeds but didn't find him. I did scare out a big boar and a bunch of doe. Here's the pics of the arrow it's an fmj 6mm with 125 g5 and 10gr inserts 68lb thought my heavier arrows would do better in the wind. Recovered 20" of arrow but blood all the way down it. Video is long and quality lacking trying to edit it to post. For now what do yall think of this blood on the arrow?

The blood is dried but looks ok from here. If his opposite leg was broken then I'm thinking dead deer.

My dog is injured right now the vet said to not let her run. I may leash her and walk slowly but I don't know. I just hope he didn't go next door.

I'm glad it's cold, the meat should last till morning, he wasn't a giant but I feel bad that I've wasted him if I don't find him.

Wish we could see the video. Man you have blood for the entire arrow length.

If it went through the shoulder and broke the opposite side he will be dead, I shot three deer through the shoulder with a bow 2 seasons ago and they were all dead very quickly

I think it's a dead deer it's just a matter of finding him
