I just can't catch a break

Finally a little action. Feeder went off at four and a few minutes later a young four point comes trotting in.

A young six pointer has just done a drive by at the feeder.

Evening hunt ended with what I could barely make out to be a nice, 3-1/2 year old eight point but couldn't tell if he was legal so he got a pass. This morning finds me in a different stand. The stand is set up on the edge of a little clearing ringed by live oaks and post oaks with the feeder set up on the other side of the clearing. Feeder went off a few minutes ago but nothing so far.

Well the hunt ended with a doe and her this year fawn trotting by and that was the end of that. Back in east Texas to start that chase again this weekend.

I don't even have a place too hunt! Id be tickled to death to be were you are!...

Lost mine last year. Family land. Obviously not my side of the family, But thankful for the time I got to spend there. Got some venison off it but did not ever fill all the tags.Thankful for the memories. Looking for another, something in S.E. TX. I live in Brazoria, Cty and would like to find something within a 2 hr drive. Not meaning to hijack any thread but, A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.
