[QUOTE=hallp82;11952468]OP how much was your grinder and what did you think about its performance?

I just bought the same one at Academy for $149.99.

OP, that burger looks very lean, did you mix any fat with it?

Try the bags next time for ground meat or pan sausage, much easier but you need a bag stuffer to attach to your #8. Nice Job!

I have the same grinder. Love it. So much better to process your own.

X2 on this. Used the bags for the first time this year, much easier than the vacuum sealer and cheaper.

Nice job on the deer. Processing is my favorite part, next to shooting. I see you bought a stuffer, those things are a life saver and product comes out better. I tried for years using the sausage stuffer on my grinder, but it just frustrated me more than anything.

If thats what you paid for an LEM Big Bite #8 you got a heck of a deal. I'd go kiss em on the lips! Never seen em on sale that low.

You did great. My kind of plate: meat, potatoes, corn and ketchup. Nothing else needed!

Looks good. Look into the bags for the burger next time...will save you alot of time. Straight from grinder through tube into bag...looks like alot of good food

Looks great! 7 hours isn't too bad when you look at what that costs you at the processor. Nice job!
