Unexplained Noises In The Woods

Hey Johnny...heard any more strange noises from this place?

Yesterday morning at 5:45, I had something growling and sniffing at my pop up door. It was there for about 5 minutes. If it touched the tent it was gonna catch 15 .40 hollow points in the face. It's been weird lately. The deer have been acting funny. They keep looking in one direction and backing out. This was getting me excited at first. Thinking a big buck was in the area. But some have been snorting and running off as if they saw a person. Also before daylight twice I've heard squirrels barking. I'll start hearing them bark far away and more will bark as something gets closer. First year I've heard that in the dark. It's ok though, I got the glock.

I realize that this post is almost a year old but **** that would freak me out

I remember this lol. All I can say is my deer hunt would have been over and the barrel on my .45 really hot.

Yeah there would be 15 holes in my pop up if that happened to me.

This post was made last year "2016" so that thing he heard must have got him since there wasn't a reply since.

In PA I have heard fishers make some crazy sounds but I don't think they range to Texas.

Heard the same once. Scary. Was hunting a lease once near Rock Springs. Shot a doe late and decided to wait till morning to track it. Next morning found it half eaten and covered with leaves and grass. Paw prints everywhere as big as my fist. Tough on the old rectal sphincter.
