Tie game. And up to the plate is Perow's Pops batting the ninth with two outs. The pitch,... and it's a home run to win the game!

            Great Ten pt Pops!

Congrats! This thread has reminded me how lucky some of us are to still be able to hunt with our dad's. Not going to take it for granted anymore.

That's awesome! Glad you made time for him. I took my dad fishing down at padre one last time before he passed away. Great memories and best thing I ever did. Congrats to y'all and I love seeing the story and pics.

Just got back to the house. What a hunt. The weather wasn't cooperating at all. Wind out of the north was a major killer. Most of the blinds are set up for everything but the north wind. Especially the blinds that can hold 3 people. I had no idea that the hunt was scheduled with another TBHer until I showed up Thursday night after working that day. Perow was sporting a nice TBH shirt!

All I can say is that Perow and his dad were the nicest people. We were honored to be able to fulfill part of the bucket list with a great buck! His buck made the top 5 largest we or hunters have ever killed on the ranch after 21 years of management. 3 of the 5 bucks were taken this year.

The slick 10 is around 6-7 years old and had a live weight of 170 and dressed 150. The buck scored 154 2/8". Memories and friendships have been made for sure. This ended like a DocMay hunt coming to a close at the very last minute. Congrats to Mr Wilson for making a perfect shot and dropping the monarch in his tracks! I Know there will be great memories made by these future trips

Perow can give his thoughts on the details of the hunt from his view point. I know I was having deep sighs after each of the hunts I guided on.But in the end, it all worked out
