I love it when people make statements when they have no clue what they are talking about. While Red has been a booster and still is, he is not part of the decision making boosters involved anymore. Part of him "speaking out" is he has no say anymore.

Who ever, it was all over the www that "boosters" wanted Charlie out. And that was before Kansas. I think Kirk mentioned this in his famous "cesspool" tirade.

Not that it matters but Patterson made it clear to Red that he had zero say. That was the whole cause of Reds rant about Charlie. Ironically, a rant that proved to be true

That's why Herbies cesspool tirade was such a joke. Literally not one single booster has said a thing about Charlie since Red right after he was hired.

Also gotta love the media narrative that UT is the bad guy. ESPN runs a report that he's fired without any confirmation from UT or Charlie. Now they running report spinning UT in bad light because Charlie says no one's talked to him.

I hate to see Coach Strong go but his record speaks for itself. Still, it sucks that we live in a "if we don't beat the dregs we pull the plug and throw money at it and re-tool" world. I like loyalty and don't want to see a revolving door. Even if it's painful at times. I enjoy watching Charlie's brand of recruiting and working to develop players. I'll remain a fan at his next stop.

One thing is for sure, somebody is about to get paid.

So are you saying ESPN is out to get Texas? Aren't they the ones who claimed, "Texas is back"? Don't they have a vested interest in the LHN? I don't think they're trying to make them look bad, they're pretty good at doing that all by themselves.
