Maybe 4 drives, but more than 4 plays... With that being said it was a p*** poor game plan and left the defense on the field way to long.

I think that was Sumlins last chance, he has not been able to manage the game and none of his teams have the discipline, the talent is there, depth is not quite there, but talent is and it is not being utilized.

Agree and I don't think there's anyway in hell he comes back. NFL people couldn't possibly care less about Heisman. They do care about injuries and career carries. Only thing he can improve on are the fumbles but don't think that's enough to come back.

He's gonna get right at 2,000 this year. Herman wouldn't get him 2,500yds with Warren there.

How many fumbles does he have in the last two seasons?

And? His tools will be the same and he will have to avoid injury for another season.

Kansas gets Texas a bowl game.

                          Herman < Strong

I'm not impressed with lower tier conference coaching. Sterlin Gilbert is the reason Texas got beaten by K State and WVU.

So what's the reason we lost all those games the last 2 years before Sterlin?

                              Mediocre players and challenged coaching.

Well, everybody doesn't start at the top. Gilbert will get better with play calling. This is his first major experience calling plays and Texas' first year with the offense. All the while, trying to protect a freshman QB and young offensive line.
