I was merely framing my narrative within a context that Christians can more easily understand. That is, do what Christ would do in this situation; be compassionate. I challenge you and any other Christian on TBH or otherwise to talk to their pastor about this and see if they think it would be Christlike to do the opposite.

Also, if Hillary had won, I would have framed the same narrative within a context easiest for liberals to understand.

Thirdly, I didn't vote for either, so it's not like I'm feeling an extreme of either elation or heartbreak. But, it's crucial that we put aside grudges and ideological differences and try to unify ourselves as a nation as we move forward into the next administration. Be the bigger person.

There are no grudges. You're mistaking how democrats/liberals would act with how conservatives will act. The gloating will be over soon (unlike the 8 year gloat of Hussein). If a Hillary supporter is broke down on the side or the road, I and my "people" will still stop with jumper cables or a lug wrench (unlike most dems). You are projecting a false concern onto conservatives. I like you and respect you but your post would have actually been legit if you would have shown more concern for how real working americans have been treated and disparaged than concern for how the hand-wringing corruption fueling SOBS are feeling that would love nothing more than to see our country fall from greatness. This coming from her attempting to shame Trump for not clearly answering whether or not he would accept the outcome.... If Trump hadn't done it, then I'd vote for you Chewmonster! Love your views, cause they reflect mine and obviously a majority in this beat down, embarrassed country. Don't get me wrong I welcome dissenting opinions! After all, I am ME, and I post HERE, hahahaha.

I do get where you're coming from though, and have nothing but the highest respect for you and your service both military and LEO, especially given our large number of mutual friends.

All I'm saying is that winners and losers in this election all need to be gracious and humble, and try to carry themselves in a manner conducive to healing the country.

I will say this also: Though I am not a fan of Trump's scathing behavior towards women, the disabled, the hispanic/Latino community, etc....I am glad that the American people just told Washington to go jump off a cliff!

you NEED to hold whoever is in that position to a higher standard and demand they do what they promised...you don't have to support him.
