    Very unique and cool looking deer Alan! Congrats on the Deer !

    And I ain't gonna say buck because some of the parts ain't there that should be. . Can hardly believe how big the bases are on that rack though.

      That is a deer of a lifetime for sure! Obviously he's a smart old buck too and congratulations on one heck of a trophy!

      Like posted above, teeth aging is an inexact science at best. The thing that is way more accurate than teeth aging is just like you have observed... You have watched him all these years, so I'd say your experience with him would trump the teeth aging estimates.

          Great deer and a wise one for sure. We seem to have one every year that stays in velvet year round. Our place is located in Mason county and if you research it you will find some interesting stuff. We have two this year and killed an old velvet 6 last year. Always fun deer to chase.

                  The coins don't always have to be in the coin purse, so to speak. That is why he shed late is they are there but under developed and could be located inside, even in muscle membranes.
