    New Bow on a budget

Looking to get a new bow. My budget is around $400. I was looking at Cabelas they have two possibilities. One is the Bear Attitude and the other is a Diamond Edge SB- 1 Black Ops. Any one have any experience with these?

Not what you asked but just my opinion. I would look into a better used bow set up for the same money.

There is a Hoyt Alpha Elite in the classifieds for $400 shipped or $375 FTF.

Keep your eye on the TBH Classifieds. Plenty of good bows show up for $400.

And I agree with AZ2tx, Elite.

I shoot the bear attitude. Shoots just as good as an overpriced bow in my opinion.

                        Like mentioned above.

A bow looses value by the second.... like a computer. A new $1000+ bow used next year will sell for $650-$700, then the next year $450-$550, by time its 3 years old they are $400 bows and there is nothing wrong with them and are usually still far more "tunable/shootable/enjoyable" than an entry level type bow.

Just my opinion as well.... but if you want new, both companies make great products.

Talk to fishndude about the PSE drive. Might hit your budget.
