    Pop up Blind Chair

What type of chair have ya'll been using in your pop up blinds. I bought a small 3 leg stool kind of chair from Gander Mnt. it has a back and is good for about an hour then my legs start to ache. It also makes some noise when i move. It does not get in my way when I shoot so I like that.

Lincoln ranch Bowhunting had some homemade ones that were really comfy...It was a small tripod type frame and had a regulare tripod chair on it...maybe some has some picks...

we started using those metal ones made of rebar and a tractor seat. they seem like they would be uncomfortable but they are rather great. i have a broken (floating) tail bone so i always bring one of those butt pads with me too.

I put a "BULL STOOL" on my christmas list. Small round padded seat and the legs are highth adjustable and stow away inside the seat itself so when you are carrying it to and from stands you are carrying nothing but a 16" disc (which is the padded seat top)

I use the stool in the attached link. It may not look very comfortable, but it really is better than one with a back. JMHO...

Academy has a small square bucket with a seat and a back. The inside of the bucket is a small ice chest and it's all hard plastic. I have one of these in each of our blinds and they are quite comfy - even over a reasonably long time, and I weight 230 pounds. $40 or so I think. Highly recommended for pop ups.

                        I built this one. http://discussions.texasbowhunter.co...ad.php?t=53432
Height adjustable, swivels, comfy and quiet.
If I'm moving the blind around, I use a more portable chair called the junior hunter they sell at Academy for $10

I jacked one of my wife's plastic cheapo patio chairs and sawed the legs down and now I can sleep in comfort.

I just purchased 2 from "Woodsey Too". They are a little pricey but they are very comfortable and light weight to move around. I think they are $70 each.
