Never seen a newer PSE do that. Especially at rest, unless you cooked it.

My biggest nightmare. Years back, I've seen guys come in off the range with banged up forehead where the bow grazed them when the handle broke in two. Not sure how they cared for them or which make...

      SCARE-y.......

That's crazy! I had a string break on a bow in my closet when I was in college, but no broken or cracked limbs!

Thats kind of what I was thinking. Especially if the foam isn't tore up.

Looks like junior put it back backwards too.

Pic is weird, Hoping you had moved bow otherwise its in the case upside down to begin with.

I saw a bow that exploded in a truck before from heat. You keep it the shop? If so it may have gotten way to hot. It's possible. But foam would be damaged some as well. If not then yeah I'd start questioning who dry fired the bow.

im inclined to think somebody did something,,, who worked on your bow last and what kind of press did they use, the only pse limbs i have seen that looked like that were pressed wrong, and they have always snapped in the middle when they were,, while it might have happened in the case the cause happened outside of it....

does suck I have seen a bowtech to that as well right when a hunter was drawing down on a monster buck. He had just shot a javi 30 minutes before with no issues.

generally when they get to hot, you are correct they start coming apart,, mathews also had a problem a few years back with the strings on the switchback getting to hot and breaking damaging the bows a lot,,,

what his picture shows does not look like they got to hot,

I know for a fact that no one has touched it. My son can only draw 60# max. No work has ever been done to it. I bought it new and dialed it in. I walk past it and the Bear every morning when i leave and night when I come home. The foam in the case has a couple very small tears in it. I did lay the bow back down backwards from how it's supposed to be. Just walked away wondering how?!?! I suppose that can happen???
Mainly wondering if anyone on the GS has any input on the possibilities of this happening.

My thoughts as well. The PSE has been in the same environment as my 20+ years old Bear. Plus, I've never heard or seen of this happening to anyone else.

Thank you for the info. I bought it from huntersfriend.com. I believe they're out of Kentucky. It was a package deal the way I wanted it rigged out. I'll be looking into repairs although I have a feeling the bill will be on me. Just preparing for the worst, hoping for the best. Either way, I'm back to my Bear.
