I'd be very cautious with it, I'm sure you could shoot it 100x and be fine but it only take once to be catastrophic. I'll admit it, one time I was shooting practice and didn't nock an arrow, somehow I thought I did and dry fired it. If a string breaking is anything like that I would err on the side of caution.

I would shoot it if it meant I was going to miss a hunt getting a new string, but if I had plenty of time to get it fixed before the hunt I would.

Hell wax it, then shoot it till it pops and rips you're earring out, then get them both fixed!

No, something else hit or rubbed it. I'm not sure what.

No since risking breaking your jaw upon drawing that thing. I would replace ASAP.

Replace asap. If it was just a little fuzzy I'd keep shooting but that looks like it cut several strands. New string and you'll be ready to hunt.

I guess I'm the only that wouldn't let it ruin my hunt. I wouldn't go target shooting with it, but once I bet it would hold up.

I'd shoot it of were in a time crunch. If not replace it.
