          The only way I would shoot it like that is if I was on a pack in hunt and even then I would have to see it in person before I would shoot it. No way I would risk it on a normal type of hunt and no way would I shoot targets with it. The other question is your bow even in tune now because with all those broken strands it could have thrown your bow out of tune and you might not have the same point of impact on your arrows.

              If you still have your backup bow and have it with you, use it until you can get that string replaced and the bow tuned. Those aren't frayed, they are severed or broken! (And by the way, I can't see how waxing that would make any difference in the strength of the string!?!)
