It should be the best 4 teams in the country. Conference champs or not to me. But last season and before, a lot of ags were saying it shouldn't matter.
Ags no longer control their destiny. They need help.

Trust me, if Texas were one of the two in that argument we wouldn't be seeing this post.

You may be onto something. Texas is the only top 10 all time program to NEVER GET A SHOT with one loss. They always get left out. LSU however has a **** title with 2 losses and Bama gets an automatic bid every year with one loss. OU got a shot after getting smoked 35-7 in the CCG. That was retarded.

It should be the best 4 teams period. The problem is that it's objective and based on opinions. You know what they say about opinions.

BTW, the Ags aren't in that group of 4 right now........imo.

If you can't win your own conference then you shouldn't be in the playoff, just my opinion, but I am guessing that the Majority would have to agree. I see Alabama, Michigan, Washington, and Clemson rounding out the playoff.

If Michigan was in Alabama conference would u penalize them? It's the four best teams right, not the four conference champions tournament and someone's left out party. If your the four best teams conference shouldn't even matter.

I think the question is how do you determine the 4 best teams? SOS?...joke. It's all about matchups when you get to the playoffs. Determining the playoffs is comical and likely a question to never be answered. It is what it is and fortunately gives us a baseline for this very thread

I think Michigan is the one team that has the biggest chance to lose one, out of those 4, then Clemson, Washington and Bama.....only because of scheduling and who they have and have not played.

As far as the Aggies, all we can do is win our games.....win them all and see how the season plays out. If we are lucky enough to be selected for the final four, it will because we won out and the selection committee thinks we are legit. If not, we make the NY6 or another bowl.....either way, I like where we are.

Texas was embarrassed and humiliated by a team that we beat and finished last in the west.....they wanted none of us.
