If you can't win your own conference then you shouldn't be in the playoff, just my opinion, but I am guessing that the Majority would have to agree. I see Alabama, Michigan, Washington, and Clemson rounding out the playoff.

If Michigan was in Alabama conference would u penalize them? It's the four best teams right, not the four conference champions tournament and someone's left out party. If your the four best teams conference shouldn't even matter.

Based on the system in place, there is no objective path to the playoffs. It is predominantly subjective. Winning your conference is not a prerequisite. I don't think anyone is argueing that An undefeated Washington doesn't make it, the question is if one of these teams falters, which one loss team gets in.

Whats weird? Since you wanted to chime in answer my question then... is it the four best teams in the country? Or four conference champs? If Ohio state runs the table and wins the big 10, and Michigan has one loss, for example, and Oklahoma wins the big 12 with two loses to Houston who is sinking and Ohio state, your saying Oklahoma deserves to be one of the 4 best teams over Michigan? Yeah no sorry

When they change the playoffs to the tournament of conference champions then two teams from same conference can't make it, until then, its four best teams. Period. Nothing to really debate

Tennessee overrated?

Their early season mojo came to a screeching halt several weeks ago. Considering the way they got to 5-0, they were probably overrated at that point. At the end of the season they are probably still a Top 25 team assuming they don't let last Saturday spiral them down the drain. Playing in the SEC ain't easy!

Every game for the teams in the Top 10 are going to be their "playoff" game from here on out. Loose and you are out of it. Win and you stay in the discussion. A&M has to get by some teams that could beat anyone on any given day and the LSU game looks to be the biggest. Hopefully they get past the next road game and can finish with 3 home games and 4 wins to finish with 1 loss.
