    CFB 2016 Week 9 Thread

Joe Alleva and F King will have to go into witness protection if they hire Charlie. Him and his "defense" have no place in Texas or at LSU.

I think everything that could wrong with Charlie's program at UT has happened. I feel sorry for him but maybe his next stop will be lots better. That's JMO.

I don't think it was you. One of the members was claiming they should be ranked at 3-3 because of all the good teams they had lost to. That's why I put the smiley face thingie.

coach O has definitely learned from his prior HC jobs (UM and USC) and how things were handled under Miles. First thing he did was open practice to the media and let the position coaches "coach" . He then personally called every former LSU football player and invited them to come back to BR and watch practice, interact with current players, and welcome players onto the field during game day when they run through the tunnel.

Orgeron then changed the way LSU practiced by doing more film study, helmets and shoulder pads practices, and walk throughs. Miles had the team doing 80-100 play full contact , tackling scrimmages on Mon, Tues, and Wednesdays. These kids were worn out by game day since they had already played the equivalent of 2-3 games before the real games on Saturday ever started.

the players now have fresh legs each week and are playing with lots of confidence. There's a whole new attitude amongst players, fans, season ticket holders, and boosters.

LSU is a very dangerous team right now , and can beat anybody if they play a full 60 minutes of error free football. The talent is there as prior head coaching was suspect and held this team down

UH, TCU, tu, Arkansas, Tech, ASU are among "local" favorites also looking to bounce back this week, while OU, Baylor and those SHSU Bearkats look to keep things rolling!

We'll be at the game this weekend. What time do y'all start drinking???

This right here is a true statement. Makes me a bit concerned about the Ags chance of beating them

Big rumor today is that Tom Herman to #Longhorns is "all but offical." Reliable sources saying what has been suspected for awhile now.

That guys an NFL hack. Not saying it won't turn out that way but I don't buy his sources at all.

Herman leaving would make sense to account for the UH implosion the last few weeks if word got out or rumors started gaining steam causing issues. It just makes no sense to beat FSU and OU then lose to Navy and get stomped by SMU!

Miles really seemed to lose touch with his players, the program, and offensive schemes in today's CFB. I like that Coach O has reached out to former players. Smart business.
