They are doing it to keep the UT coaches upstairs from attempting to steal play calls. Makes a little sense considering Gilbert's knowledge of Brile's offense however that isn't something that normally happens.

Bears need to make some tackles in this second half.

The press box is across the field. They are holding it directly over his head.

I know most the time they hold them behind the coach. They do it so other teams can't see the signals and chart them when they exchange video/film /what ever it's called now a days online for scouting.

Anywho...It's a good game.

Pretty soon they will have pressure sensors in the crown of every helmet. When they are touched together they will start beeping.
I ve said for years now. One easy way to stop leading with your head is take the face mask off. Who's gonna stick their face in there then !

The whole team is terrible. The offensive play calling is mind boggling sometimes. Not to mention two weeks in a row being killed by a QB running for 1st downs.
