May wanted let people know you are in Burleson County and these are real cedar trees, not the hill country juniper. That may help.

And for the guys who think it is funny or I was trying to get work for free, these trees are on a 3 1/2 acre track on my private road/entrance to my place. As you can see it is well kept, and know you may see why I ask for the person who wanted them ( if anyone ) to clean up their mess and grind the stumps.

There are 78 trees on this 3 1/2 acres, a mixture of big oaks and big cedar. It just happens that 2 cedars are dying and one is a pain to mow around.

Good point, however, it will not matter to some. They just have to comment with zero knowledge behind the post. I guess they don't understand that someone who has the proper tools could make several mantles for fireplaces that sell for 5 to 700 dollars each, not to mention all of the other stuff with the smaller pieces.

It just don't pay to be a nice guy.

It sure seems that way with this rough crowd.

I had a place with hundreds of 60' tall cedar trees. I was contemplating buying a sawmill and cutting cedar to build my house with. At that particular time, I was having lots of back problems, and couldn't afford to hire it out. Ended up selling the place, as thieves were bad in the area, and I decided I didn't want to live there.

Sorry to hear it double bogey, My place is built and I have all the cedar I think I may need. I was just trying to give someone a few great trees that might help them out some how. I don't need or want them. I do have a chain saw, a tractor, and a burn pile at the bottom of the place, so I am good if nobody wants them.
