    Cedar trees

Don't know if I should put this here or the classifieds, I have 3 pretty big cedars on my place that need to go. 2 are starting to die and one is just in the way. They are free for the taking, but there is a catch. On the day you come to cut them down you must 1. Clean up your mess ( I have a place you can take the limbs to ) and 2. you must bring a stump grinder or something to get the stumps to ground level or below.

I can get pics and measurements if you think you may want them.

good luck on that, I though the same thing that people would want it for free to make stuff but nope, I have about 10 acres of cedars and pretty much have to do it your self or pay

My bad, I thought that someone may be looking for a few good trees, never crossed my mind that people would think I was trying to get someone to do work for free. I didn't think it was a bad deal. I guess I was wrong.

Im sure if you will cut it to length and load it in someones pickup, they will come get it as long as you are paying for the gas! Thats the modern entitled mentality at "work". I primarily heat my house with wood and have helped several people out the way you are asking. Most people are terrified of hard manual labor, at least it seems that way. Tried to pay high school kids $.50 a bale to buck hay and couldnt find any takers. I did it for $.10 in the 90's and didnt bat an eye.

Most folks will laugh about this post.....except the guy that really wants some cedar for a special project. If it were me however, I would do it myself and make me an old fashioned cedar chest or more depending on how much lumber came out of the trees.

I agree, just like in post 5 and 6. But hey, it is what it is and I just consider the source.
