Hogan was drawn for a doe/hog hunt on November 11 on the Hapgood Ranch near Bellvue. Does anyone have any experiences with this organization and/or ranch? Thanks

Me and my son leave out for a hunt we got drawn on from TYHP tomorrow. My buddy and his son and daughter have been on a few, they had nothing but great things to say. Three hunts, all were 100% successful and he said the food was outstanding. Hope that helps. I will let you know how we do this weekend.

This is what really got me started. This organization is such a great thing. Getting to go to these ranches, talk with the landowners, and being around other kids that were in to hunting was such a wonderful experience. If you get a chance to go on a hunt at Lloma Vista Ranch, the Colemans were such wonderful hosts.
If you have any questions about the program, please feel free to message me. I hunted with TYHP from 9-until 15.

We were in pop ups and ground blinds. 3 hunts at 3 different sets. We did not see many deer. Only 2 doing shooting hours. We saw about 6 pigs and 20 turkey. Others saw a dozen deer, so it just depends. Everything was green and we had no deer coming into the feeders. That may change by the time you hunt. Our guide allowed us to shoot this little buck. Not sure if they will allow that on future hunts or not. It made my daughter's day.
