    Looking for a new arrow

I am looking for a new arrow. What do you all recommend. I have a 29 inch draw and pull 67 pounds. Right now I shoot VAPs but they are a little to light. I want something in the 440-450 gr range. Any suggestions?

I shoot a 29" .300 spine black eagle deep impact. With a 32gr firenock outsert and 125gr broadhead I'm about 510grains. These are super durable arrows. Best combination of straightness tolerances and wall thickness in a micro diameter arrow imo. At 67 lbs you could probably go with the .350 spine and with a 100gr tip you would be in the 460gr area that you are looking for

Correction..... The BEA DI .350 would put you about 435gr with a 100gr tip, 460 with a 125

Stick with the VAP. Low Torque with stainless insert. I'm at 29.5" draw and use the 95 gr. Insert putting me at 480 gr with a 350 spine and 100 gr. tip. You can go lighter in the insert if wanted.

Black Eagle can't even get their cheap aluminum outserts to fit correctly. Tried them last year. Not a fan.

Hate to hear that. Never had a problem with bkackeagle inserts.

Outserts actually. I've stopped selling the Deep Impacts because it takes an hour to get them ready for a customer. Total PITA.

I've been using the firenock outsert for about two years now and it has been working great. Total pain in the butt to get them installed and spinning true though... I can't disagree with that.

I use the Easton Full Metal Jackets 340s. I shoot 70lbs and have a 29" draw, my arrows are in 450 range if I remember right.

Does anyone use the Easton Axis?

I switched from carnivore to axis and like them. Fly like darts and added some weight.

The Axis is a good of an arrow in its price range that money can buy. Imo

Take a look at the gold tip kinetic kaos. I have been very pleased with the performance of the arrow.
