Wife bought me a set a few years ago. I’ve sharpened on the gut hook knife for over an hour and had cabela’s work on it too, still not much of an edge. Maybe I should send it back or but it on a table grinder.

Received a set as a gift. Decent little knives. I say buy once, cry one. Get a custom knife from a reputable builder.

I bought my set in the 90s, they've never held an edge to save their life. I rarely use them, spent hours sharpening them to hold an edge for 10 minutes of skinning isn't worth it. They just sit in my closet.
