I was about to say something along those lines. We have a protein feeder set up 50 yards from our camp house at the place in Encinal, and the best deer we have on the entire place eat at that one. Granted, it has been there for about 3 years now, so the deer are definitely used to it. Some mornings, if your head hurts a little and you don't want to get out and hunt, you can see a lot of animals out the kitchen and one bedroom window. Deer cruise through the field right in front of the house without a care in the world. If moving camp is going to be a big hassle, I wouldn't do it. The deer will get used to it. -
I would leave it right where it's at. You would be surprised at what lurks right outside of camp. As stated above, there have been some big deer killed close to camp.Comment
