We are in Stonewall County just North of Aspermont and are absolutely covered up with rats. I bought a big bucket of Jaguar rat poison and put about 15 pieces in the garage and maybe 30 around the house and another 10 in the pump house, the next morning every single piece was gone. I'm afraid to go back next weekend, I think it'll be smelling like dead rats for a while.

BTW anybody know what shots i need after a mouse bites me?

Grab em by the tail. They won't bite you. If one does I guess just Alcohol,Peroxide or Neosporin would help.

Looks like it in this one, others use antifreeze so the bodies don't go stinking.
