I have been run into by a doe and jumped over by a buck.

I was at the ranch filling feeder one summer and finished in the late afternoon. I decided to grab the AR15 and go call some coyotes...I walked in to a tank that had a fresh 80 yard wide root plowed strip north of it (to the fence) and heavy brush on the other side of the fence. I backed up into some brush growing on top of the tank dam and hit the mouth call...the brush on the other side of the fence just exploded with deer and a big old doe jumped the fence headed right at me...she must have thought it was a fawn in distress...she came right at me at a dead run, ran up the tank dam and cleared the top in the air and saw me backed up under the brush...she hit the ground at a full skid and slid right into my chest LOL. Scared the heck out of both of us...

I was rattling on a cold rainy day (post rut) in a similar situation...I was sitting on the ground backed up in a mot of brush about 10' in diameter...after about 20 minutes I rattled a little 8 point in...he came from behind me and walked right up in front of me and stopped about 3' away. He was looking all around for the fight...I decided to play with him...he wandered back around to the other side of the brush and I tinkled the horns...he came running back around with his hair standing up and stopped right in front of me looking all around. I did this twice more and he was getting more and more frustrated that he couldn't find the fight...he wandered off again and I tinkled the horns and the next thing I knew his front feet hit he ground right between my knees and his back feet clipped my shoulders...he had jumped right over the brush trying to "catch" the other deer that he thought were hiding from him...he stumbled and caught himself and then looked back and finally saw me and nearly turned himself inside out trying to get out of there...

Man I don't miss that... You come up with some "great" thoughts staring at trees out the front window all day long!!

Buff has a great video of a big hog that almost ended up in the pop-up with him.

He would have been inside. He just ran out of steam before he made it in. On side of the blind is still covered with blood

No deer but I did have a skunk walk in, curl up into a ball and go to sleep at my feet. It took me twenty slow minutes to get out of that blind. Every slight movement or noise I would make he would look up at me and then put his head back down and close his eyes.

I heard a doe smack my quad stand this weekend while in my ground blind on the other side of the feeder. She came out on my trail in shaking her head. It was all I could not to laugh. It sounded like you hit the leg with a hammer. It had to hurt like heck.
