I was thinking today while running the tree shear. Has anyone ever had a deer run into their popup? After the shot all hell tends to break loose and I imagine we have had some close calls...

I had one do it when the feeder went off, a yerling doe and it scared me worse than it did her I think...Looking back it's funny now but it wasn't at the time... -

Never had one run into a ground blind but I did have one that after the arrow went into him he ran and hit the leg on my tripod and just about nocked me off....Comment

Had two yearlings run into me sitting on a 5 gallon bucket in Llano after I shot thier mom. That scared me half to death. They actually cut hard left when they saw me move to cover my face and slid into my legs we were all getting the you know what out of there.
That Matt spike video was the funniest thing I have seen in a while, great stuff! Wish I had got mine on video, I would be able to break it out for years just to get a laugh.Comment

Had a hog all but get in it with me one time after shooting one of his buddies. His nose was coming under it when he finally decided to go another path
. I would have probally shot myself trying to get away from him if he got in there. Thought I was going to have to change my pants after it was all over.

Had a Sika Spike run straight into the quad pod a couple of weeks ago and almost knock me out of it. I was laughing so hard I didn't seee anything the rest of the hunt.Jeff Young
