Jeff look at the stats- better chance getting killed hitting a deer in a car- mauled and killed by a pit bull, and you weighing in at 150 lbs than getting attacked by a mountain lion in Texas

We have them on our place and from my experience they dont stick around very long. I've heard they trave 60 sq miles per day. Not sure if it is true or not but would bet it is. I had one follow me one day. The only reason I knew was when walking back her tracks were in mine from earlier. She also had two sets of cub tracks with here. Glad I wasnt a learning experience for them.

I guess the sharks in Lake Travis are why you don't catch any fish in that lake

Of course it has been cruddy the sharks ate the fish and the lion is headed for your neighborhood now because it is out of food where you hunt.

I bet he is, I can feel his eyes on me right now... And them darn sharks are now out of Travis and walking. I think we are gonna have a cat vs. fish fight and I am the prize

I hunt on Camp Pendleton and that place is covered with cats. Like someone said earlier, it can give you a creepy feeling knowing something that can kill you is lurking around. Remember, they are predatorial, so if attacked, fight. Just like any cat they are crafty, silent and absolute killing machines. Keep your baby with you and don't forget to check your back from time to time. You should be fine, it's when you they start to show themsleves during the day that things could start to get hairy. Best regards.
