Nope. I was asked to get in someone's boat, but I declined because my fishing license had expired. Guy was trotlining.

When you invite them, ask at that time. Don't wait till you are about to leave.

I have people ask me if they can dove hunt on my property and I tell them to make sure they have their license. If not, go get them before you get here.

Good point. These are guys that i went to high school with. Ive known them for a while but as the years go by it seems that I 'know' them less.

Not at all. I offer the same deal to folks from time to time, and always make sure they are licensed. I usually find that most people may have a license, but don't have a duck stamp. You have to protect yourself and your property.

It wouldn't offend me when you ask .
                  When are we leaving?

If green jeans stops you and one of your buds is without. You are going to be on their radar from here on out. "Oh there goes oh BetramHunter let's see. If he's complaint "

I would assume the person was wanting to pool tags.

That wouldn't offend me personally but you can offend some people these days by saying something as simple as Merry Christmas. I would be willing to bet that they won't be so offended that they fail to take you up on the offer.

Wouldnt bother me, I always ask before I take anyone, doesn't seem to bother them either.

I see no problem with it. I do a double-check on my own wife, kids, and FIL before they go out on the ranch. It is as much for their benefit as mine to keep everybody out of trouble. I see it the same in your situation.

I would invite them and say make sure you have your license before we go, and let them know your going to check before y'all head out. If that offends someone WHO CARES!!!!!!
