love mine. Won't hunt without it.

If you can find a Log 6 Ozone generator, it was made specifically for this purpose. It has a 30 minute timer and a small hose that can be ran into a suit case or plastic tote. I bought mine from On Target Archery a few years ago.

Ozone has an extremely short half life and disapates rapidly. I wouldn't want it blowing in my face but I wouldn't hesitate to use one. I've been around ozone for years in the water treatment process and can tell you it can be some bad stuff. But I doubt the amounts and concentration these put out will kill you. May deteriorate your clothing quicker if used in a closed box. It is an oxidizer. And I doubt that you can just go out there smelling bad and expect it to kill all odor. I would think you would still need to practice scent control.

My dad used this unit the first few days of our bear hunt last week. I was super skeptical but my clothes stunk so I gave it a try myself and it really works.
The next day I shot two bears with this one weighing in at 235lbs field dressed.

I borrowed one to test before buying one... first sit, I moved a pop up directly upwind from a feeder and hand corn... Had a 150 class 10 point mature (6+ year old) come in to less than 10 yards completely calm and he fed/walked 360 degrees around me in my pop up... Does did the same thing... 30 minutes later a big ol' boar I was after started into the feeder. The instant he crossed the leading edge of my down wind direction he snorted and took off wide open... THAT'S when I officially gave up trying to fool a hog's nose... I'm convinced it can't be done! I had saturated the DB blind in dead downwind spray, same for my clothes/boots bow, all my gear. Clothes were washed in scent free soap then vacuum-sealed until I put them on after getting out of the truck to walk to the stand... Oh yea, I did go buy the Ozonics machine (well my bride did, for Christmas present), and If you do ALL your other usual scent elimination tactics right, that Ozonics will fool almost any whitetailed deer long enough for you to kill him/her with archery equipment if you want to... Eventually if they hang around long enough they will get nervous and leave a lot of the time. But they will come in and stay a while also almost every time.

For you guys that love your how many of you hunt in tree stands, and what are your results??
I have two stands on my 100 acre farm and it's really all I have set up to hunt, with that being said I've got them set up for north winds however the wind swirls very badly in these locations so I'm wondering how well an ozonics will work for me.

I've used ozone generators in tree stands and tripods backed up into trees and had deer downwind of me that didn't spook just like when using it in a ground blind. I've had deer stop and stand downwind of me for a while when I was in a tree stand before finally coming in too. I think they were probably getting a hint of scent, but they didn't spook and run off. Maybe they thought it was old or distant or something?? I've yet to have a deer get downwind of me while using ozone and snort and run off the way they do when you aren't using ozone though.
