Didn't have enough time to make it out to my first spot so I just got up on a ridge and did some glassing. This country is thick and tough to glass in. No elk seen. I did see a Polaris ranger on a trail that was limited to 4 wheelers. Ticks me off a bit. Oh well.
On the way up the road a saw a grouse but couldn't find him once I got my bow out. Woulda been a tasty dinner.
Windy here at camp. Hope it dies down in the morning.

Nothin seen yet. Made it to an evening glassing spot high on a ridge. This was a wildfire area years ago and I was hoping I'd have more deadfall in front of me to see better. I've got a north facing slope, two ponds, and a meadow to watch.
Met two guys on the way up that had heard some bugling in the area. Said nobody wanted to come here because the deadfall makes it a gnarly hike.
