It takes time. This is why GP hates playing underclassmen. He likes to play one or two that are 'ready' and the older guys on the unit can pick them up. Playing a bunch is just a drastic learning curve and they have nobody to lean on per se. Especially in TCU's situation where the underclassmen are typically not there physically. This is what you are seeing with them currently. The Texas and TCU roster is pretty comparable when you break it down by class. I think GP only has 7 seniors on scholarship right now. Texas plays a few more true freshman than TCU. Just so many new parts that nothing has 'gelled' yet. Been a little better every week but significant injuries are piling up and just not enough physical depth.

If you could combine Strong's recruiting and GP's coaching it would be unstoppable....You'd basically have Saban

Getting info on injuries from GP is almost nonexistent. I'm waiting on one of my 'people' to try and get some scoop for me. All of the rumors are mostly PCL. I don't see him playing this year. It would be a miracle if it is only hyperextended.

Actually I don't hate the horns. I'm pulling for them. I just get frustrated with your stereotypical sunshine comments that are bipolar in nature. One minute you think you should be higher ranked the next minute it's season over and then a minute after you are jumping on others for being upset with their team. Whatever it is I hope he recovers from it. Del Rio, the QB at Florida had a bad looking one too.

BAMA has to get through this week and a couple others before that. A&M D looked huge compared to AU.

Hopefully know more tomorrow. I'm not up to speed on all of the medical redshirt protocol. I know Slanina went down in game 4 last year and was able to get one. Wait and see at this point...

It sux for the kid, but also means Deante Gray will move back to offense. He practiced one week at corner and was better than all of them in the game this week, lol.
