I think he goes. Most coaches don't consider UH a destination job.

I would imagine Herman could pretty much name his price if he has a solid season this year. LSU would not be the only program looking to make a move. If USC chokes this year I would bet that program would dump Helton in a heartbeat.

I believe Herman will only leave for a few blue blood type schools. I don't think he just takes a job than Houston just cause it's a "better" job than UH. He has said he's not interested in a regional type school if he leaves UH. He will take a job based on the situation and won't chase the highest bidder. He is a very smart man and he has a plan in place. He's in a good spot and he's young so he will be patient for the right opportunity. I could be way off but knowing him, reading what others say about him , and listening to him talk I feel comfortable making these comments.

I'm not concerned, because either their play will support the ranking, or they'll drop if they lose. Even tu and Wisconsin have shown us something already to somewhat justify their ranking. TN and MI haven't yet. They'll get their chances, though.
Yes, and Michigan has to play the mighty Michigan State JK

Sure they would. They have dumped on him twice already!

They also have to deal with tOSU but first they have to play a resurgent Colorado team Saturday.

I don't disagree with you one bit but it's always a fluid situation. Anything can happen and things change in a hurry. However, he seems to be very in tune with the landscape and will have plenty of opportunity. It will be interesting to see what happens coming up.

No question as there are a lot of moving parts and it's all about timing. I do know it's not going to be money chasing, it will be the situation that makes him jump.

The most popular story about the battle cry dates back to the first time Auburn met Georgia on the football field in 1892 and centers around a spectator who was a veteran of the Civil War.Nov 23, 2015

do you think Major has any influence in Herman's decision

they seem to be pretty tight
