The 9:30 kick is brutal. This is my #1 reason I never want to see Texas in the Pac 12 unless you get a Central Time Zone pod with the Arizona Schools were we have 1 late game a year.
Agreed, I hate the late kicks.

All in all based on what we've seen this season in TWO games, the OL will be the Achilles of this squad should they not stay healthy. The freshmen QB is already exceeding early expectations but not in the stats department as much as his poise in the pocket and cool demeanor.

The one good thing about sucking so bad previous years...is that it makes this statement a little more plausible.

You and me both. I was cautiously optimistic after SFA that the D had improved, boy was i wrong. I dont even know where to start pointing the finger. Its hard to watch someone score that many points against you. Man that was awful. Wreck em Tech and lets get something figured out on D!!

The wife and I are headed to see Ole Miss and Bama this weekend. We are staying in Memphis and will catch up with my buddy who is Director of Operations for the Memphis Football team. I hope we have time to tour the facilities as well.

We have reservations at City Grocery for Friday lunch, but nothing else is planned. We are going to see two of her former students that play for Ole Miss so we will spend some time with those guys too. I am looking forward to my first trip to the Grove!

Gus's fried chicken and rendezvous bbq are tasty eats.

Rendezvous is highly overrated. They cook on charcoal. It is a cool place though. Worth a visit.

Really? 9:30 kick. I will set my alarm for 11pm so I can wake up and watch some more. Hahaha.

Gus is incredible. there's one in Austin now but worth the stop at the original.

Shane Buechele is #8 nationally in Pass Efficiency Rating at 188.7.

That's pretty decent even though the sample size is small.

He's going to have a bad game soon enough but what if he doesn't? There's no rule that says he has to.

Is it reasonable to think Texas could win the Big XII in what appears to be a down conference year with a true freshman QB and youngsters running all over the field? Seems like a long shot but these ARE college kids.

Yeah I know, my cart is way ahead of horse. Hopefully they beat Cal and inch a little closer to a bowl of any kind.

There is another game this week that is almost as important to Texas fans. It will tell us a lot. ND vs Mich State.

If ND and Texas win.....look out. Shock the Nation Part Two. ( E Hogan used the term on the Horn Friday. LOL)

Rated higher than any freshmen QB playing the game and that includes RS I believe. I'm gonna open up the koolaid stand if they're undefeated after the road trip to Dallas. Until then, it's one week at a time. He's 7th nationally in QBR.

They face the nation's leading receiver whom has 28 catches for 350 yards and three TDs ... in two games.

I wish you would stick with "the mud hole cometh". It seems to be working so far.

Cal's defense is bad, Texas should win that game by 10+

Ags have a tricky test with auburn this weekend. Jordan Hare is always tough, but Auburn is still a team you can't get a feel for. Putrid offense vs clemson but held them to 19 points, then arky state they put up 700 yards offense and never punted, while clemson struggled with Troy. Just not sure what you're going to get from them.
