- during recruiting process , Kiel admits his 2 finalists are ALA and OK
- then commits to Indiana to play with his brother
- de-commits claiming he really wants to play at LSU
- commits to LSU confirming he will be an early enrollee in January 2012
- Jan 16 - Kiel never shows up on campus in Baton Rouge , never calls the coaches
- Jan 17 - Notre Dame releases statement confirming Kiel is on campus as early enrollee
- spends 2012 season at ND on bench behind Everett Golson, Tommy Rees and Andrew Hendrix
- Fall 2012 Kiel announces he will transfer from ND
- Spring 2013 , Kiel transfers to Cincy
- 2014, 1st game at QB Kiel throws for 6 TD's , an FBS record
- 2015 before bowl game, Kiel leaves team for undisclosed personal issues
- Spring 2016, Kiel returns to team
- Fall 2016, Kiel (5th yr Sr) is 3rd on QB depth chart behind SO - Hayden Moore, and FR - Ross Trail

Thursday night TV road game, sets up so much for the home team. Any win even if it's only by 2 point and Houston should stay where they are in the polls.
