Yeah in some ways the sports media is just as or even more liberal than the regular media. As others stated, they are owned by ABC and we know they have an agenda. I used to love ESPN but they are not only super-liberal but they are too self-promotional in my opinion. They seem to constantly promote their sportscasters who will be reading the scores at night or in the AM. I just want the highlights and I absolutely hate the talk shows. They used to be the 'world wide leader' but not in my book.

When I get up on Sunday Morning from September to February and turn on NFL Countdown, I am tuning in to hear about FOOTBALL! If I wanted to hear about "social injustice", discrimination, or see the constant barrage of protests about this that or the other, I would turn on Fox News, CNN, or some other station that is expected to provide that type of information!
I do not tune in to hear the lasted newly retired NFL Star/ESPN Football Analyst who suddenly since retiring has became the foremost expert on US History use his platform as an excuse to preach to the masses!
That being said I am not insensitive the problems of this world today, but on Sunday Morning, I just want to hear about FOOTBALL!!
It's the same with college football! I want to hear about the teams and how they are going to fare against their opponents. I don't give a flip about the current perceived social injustice being pushed at these universities!

They do a great job with the 30-30 documentaries. I have not seen one I didn't like. I will still watch those. E 60's are pretty good too. Mainly because they are telling someone else's story without being to interject their own opinions/beliefs into the story.
ESPN is costing Disney a fortune to keep afloat. Their numbers have been terrible for a few years and show no signs of getting better.
They only have themselves to blame.
