We will be. Hunting one of our reservoirs south of Winnie off whites ranch road. Need all the rice field hunters to hammer away before we start seeing many birds though.

It was good here in the Marsh. Heard some shooting in the bay and in the flooded fields, but not as much shooting as in prior years.

Talked to several people from Katy to Garwood. Slow season start was common. 4 of us had 21 & the opportunity was there for that hunter to get 3 more. We weren't covered up by no means. Good shooting helped my bunch today. They brought their A game. We were in Garwood.
